US wants free access to your PC

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrRuuSlCCOc&feature=player_embedded

It never ends.

Now these pieces of self-propelled garbage want free access to your personal computer any time they want.

The pretense is that illegally copied songs and movies threaten national security, and in order to save the world governments need instant access to your computer any time so they can criminalize you for file sharing.

Can’t regulate Wall Street. Can’t regulate oil companies. Can’t regulate Big Pharma or agribusiness, but by God they are going to regulate you right now to every breath you draw and every keystroke you make.

Thought of the week…….

Thought of the week
“Rajab is (the name of) a River in paradise that is whiter than milk & sweeter than honey. Allah will allow one to drink from this river if he fasts for even one day in this month. It is also a month of seeking forgiveness more than usual as Allah is forgiving & merciful during this month.” Imam Musa Kazim (AS)

Soccer fever !!

A man had two great tickets for the World Cup Final.

As he sits down, another man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the empty seat next to him.

“No,” he says. “The seat is empty.”

“This is incredible!” says the other man. “Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the World Cup Final, the biggest sporting event, and not use it?”

“Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to come with me, but she passed away. This is the first World Cup Final we haven’t been to together since we got married.

“Oh … I’m sorry to hear that. That’s terrible. But couldn’t you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the seat?”

The man shakes his head. “No. They’re all at the funeral…”

Birth Anniversary of the first Imam, Successor of the Prophet, Amirul Mo'mineen, Imam Ali (A.S.) – 13 Rajab /June 26, 2010

One of the highlights of the month of Rajab which all of the faithful look forward to is the birth anniversary of the explicitly appointed successor of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). We are referring to the one who earned the titles of Asadullah, Amirul Momineen, Imamul Muttaqeen, Haider, Abu Turab and other such virtuous names and are of course referring to none other than Imam Ali ibne Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

It was Friday 13th of Rajab 30 Amulfeel Hazrat Fatima binte Asad, the wife of Hazrat Abu Talib entered the precincts of the Holy Kaaba and prayed to Allah saying O’ my protector ease my pain. All of a sudden the wall of the Kaaba opened up and she, as if by some unseen force went inside the Kaaba and the wall closed. Ali (AS) the youngest son of Abu Talib was born inside the Holy Kaaba.

The striking contrast behind Fatima binte Asad, the mother of Imam Ali and the period of pregnancy and delivery and that of Mariam binte Imran, the mother of Prophet Jesus (AS) are indeed very interesting. Yes, this one example shows us the greatness of Fatima binte Asad, her child and their lofty rank in the sight of Allah (SWT)!

The Qur’an relates that when Mariam was facing the pains of labour, she first decided to retreat to the house of worship. She was however ‘forced’ out of there and was told that the House of Allah is not a place to deliver a child! Therefore, she turned towards the East and secluded herself in the desert to give birth. However, when we research the ahaadith, we see that when Fatima binte Asad was about to deliver and had gone to the Ka’bah to perform the Tawaf and complain to Allah (SWT) about her pains and make supplication for ease, the Ka’bah actually split open, welcoming her inside! For a period of three days, she remained in this holy sanctuary, only coming out after the birth of her son, Ali ibne Abi Talib!

The Prophet was one of the first people to see the infant and to welcome him into the world. Indeed, this bond of brotherhood and assistance for one another continued until the departure of the Prophet from this transient world.

Being a true monotheist and one whose parents had never even bowed down to the statues present in the Ka’bah, when the official message of Islam came to the Prophet of Islam in the cave of Hira, there was no need for Ali to ‘convert’ or ‘accept Islam’! This ‘new’ set of teachings was nothing other than the nature which Allah had created him with and thus, when the first words of Wahi came from the Prophet, he automatically acknowledged them.

All historians are unanimous that when the Bi’that of the Prophet took place and the message of Islam was limited to one house, that it was the Prophet, Ali and Lady Khadijah (AS) who performed their prayers in congregation (Jama’at).

For 23 long years, the continued support of Ali ibne Abi Talib to the Prophet of Allah continued on various fronts – within the family of believers; in the preserving of the Divine Revelation and on the battle front. No doubt, it is for these and other reasons that when Allah wanted to speak of his greatness, he referred to him as the ‘soul of the Prophet’. “But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and ourselves and yourselves, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars.” (3:61)

We extend our heartfelt congratulations on the advent of the 13th Rajab, the auspicious birth anniversary of the child of Kaaba, Master of the Virtuous, Emir of the believers, Imam Ali (A.S.), to our present Imam Al-Mahd (May Allah Hasten his Appearance), and then to you and all the followers of the Ahlul Bait (A.S.)

A’amaal for 13, 14 and 15 (Ayyaam-e-Beez)
13th, 14th and 15th of Rajab, Shaa’-baan and Ramadhan are know as “Ayyaam-e-Beez” (the days of surpassing splendor)

Our 6th Imam Jaffer As-Sadiq (A.S.) has said: “Whoso prays during the nights of “Ayyam Bayz”, in fact, stands at the door of superabundant favours, bounties and benefits available in these months

It is highly desirable to observe fast on 13, 14 and 15, have a bath (Ghusl) each day, and give alms in the way of Allah. Please click here to view the A’amaal for these days.

Please remember all of us in your Du’as, especially to those who are suffering in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other places. Please also remember all our Muslim brothers and sisters who are sick and need of our Du’as.

Pearls of Wisdom From The Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS)

– One who says unpleasant things about others, will himself quickly become a target of their scandal.

– The sin which makes you sad and repentant is more liked by Allah than the good deed which turns you arrogant.

– Whoever warns you against sins and vices is like the one who gives you good tidings.

– If you are greeted then return the greetings more warmly. If you are favoured, then repay the obligation manifold; but he who takes the initiative will always excel in merit.

– Whoever wants to be a leader should educate himself before educating others. Before preaching to others he should first practice himself. Whoever educates himself and improves his own morals is superior to the man who tries to teach and train others.

– Acquire wisdom and truth from whomever you can because even an apostate can have them but unless they are passed over to a faithful Muslim and become part of wisdom and truth that he possesses, they have a confused existence in the minds of apostates.

– Knowledge and wisdom are really the privilege of a faithful Muslim. If you have lost them, get them back even though you may have to get them from the apostates.

ONE PARAGRAPH THAT EXPLAINS LIFE!

Dedicated to one of the finest human being I have ever known – all those who read this are requested a silent prayer for him to help him get over his own life’s challenges.

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.
From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed:

“Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease”?

To this Arthur Ashe replied:

“The world over –

50 million children start playing tennis,

5 million learn to play tennis,
500,000 learn professional tennis,

50,000 come to the circuit,

5000 reach the grand slam,
50 reach Wimbledon ,

4 to semi final,

2 to the finals…

When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD ‘Why me?’.
And today in pain I should not be asking GOD ‘Why me?’

Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrow keeps you Human,
Failure keeps you humble and Success keeps you glowing,

But only Faith & Attitude Keeps you going…
